Where should
I stay?
We will have a room block of 15 rooms with the Beauport Hotel. We have also provided other hotels in the area and listed them in order of proximity to the venue.
Please note that because this is Mother’s Day Weekend, hotels and airbnb’s will book up VERY quickly in this area. This is a big weekend for college graduation and Mother’s day celebrations. We highly recommend booking a place to stay well in advance. We will be unable to add rooms to our block after the 15 have filled.
7 rooms are left at The Beauport as of January 10, 2025.

We have a block of 15 rooms at the Beauport. This is the only hotel we have a block at. It is located less than 1 mile from the venue. This is also the only hotel that will have a shuttle service.
Our room block code is Richardson Cate
To book a room here please call the hotel (978-282-0008 ext. 3) and give them our block code. They will then get you set up in a city view room. Everything takes place over the phone, you are not able to book a room in our block via their website.
A note about the shuttle: This holds 13 people and runs for all guests of the hotel on a first come basis. It is not exclusive for our wedding. If you want to utilize this service we recommend giving yourself plenty of time to get a seat!
The base rate for a room for 1 night here is $269 ($300.47 with tax) this rate is good for the night of the wedding only.
The block will remain open until all rooms are filled or until 3/29/25, whichever comes first!

For the most fun and cost effective option for our out-of-town friends, we recommend an airbnb, especially if you will be staying longer than 2 nights.
Some areas to look at are Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, Danvers, Beverly and Salem. If you don't mind a bit of a drive you could also look at Salisbury, Topsfield, Ipswich and Peabody.
We made a list of recommended stays on airbnb, see the list here

Things To Do
How To Get Here
Fly
Airport: Boston Logan
Driving from Logan: 35 miles/ 50 minutes
Public Transit from Logan Airport via Logan Express: Logan Express to Danvers, this will get you within about a 20 minute drive/ Uber to Gloucester! The bus leaves Logan every hour on the 15. ‘
Public Transit from Logan via MBTA: The best option to utilize the MBTA from Logan is to take the Silver Line from the airport, this will bring you to South Station where you will switch to the Green line towards North Station. At North Station you can exit the T and head upstairs to the commuter rail platforms and take the Newburyport/ Rockport line towards Gloucester!
Drive
Drive Sober or get pulled over
Whether you’re driving 15 minutes or 1500 miles we ask that you NEVER get behind the wheel if you’ve had a drink. There are plenty of ubers in the area, we ask you utilize this option as your FIRST resort if you decide to have a drink or two with us!
As MADOT would put it “Gobble, Gobble, don’t drive drunk”
Public Transit
MBTA Via Boston
If arriving via Amtrak or bus line, you will likely have to make a connection through South Station.
Once arriving at South Station you will have to make your way to North Station to catch the MBTA Newburyport/ Rockport line. This will be either a 1 mile walk, 10 minute uber or 15 minute T ride, switching trains once from red to green at Park Street.
Once at North Station make your way upstairs to the commuter rail platforms for the Newburyport/ Rockport line. Your stop will be Gloucester! (make sure to double check the train schedule as this line has had some ongoing construction for the past few years!)
